A simple mission to create a learning environment where students are empowered to become more confident in themselves, their school work and their natural abilities. Our supportive tutors offer 1:1 sessions in mathematics and english, both in person (in Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia) and online for students all over the world.

By providing a peaceful and calm learning environment, we find that our students instantly benefit from increased memory retention, improved ability to focus and a better capacity to fully understand new and often complex concepts.

We aim to ignite a passion for learning within each student so that it becomes joyful and motivating for them to learn.

We help them to identify their strengths and support them in the areas they want to improve upon.

At Blossom House Co, we believe in building confidence as well as ability and that’s why we’ve also recently developed Blossom Cards: Affirmation Cards for Kids.

Our director is also a registered meditation teacher with Meditation Australia and an accredited Peaceful Kids facilitator. ‘Peaceful Kids’ is a Mindfulness and Positive Psychology based program to lessen anxiety and stress and increase resilience in children from Prep to Year 12. The program gives children the skills, practice and support to utilise coping strategies that lessen the symptoms of anxiety and stress. This program helps children to build their emotional resilience so they are better equipped to deal with the day to day stresses that life brings them.

Hi, I’m Alex!

I’m the Director of Blossom House Co. I started this business after more than 10 years of experience in tutoring. My favourite part about tutoring is seeing the light bulb go on after a child has had trouble with a problem for some time. At Blossom House Co, we’ve created an environment where children can let their strengths flourish. We don’t try to put them into a mould. Our tutors are experienced at helping students to face a problem using a perspective that makes sense to them.
